Furniture Mover Driver & Warehouse Worker

Job Description * This employee must be skilled in basic computer skills * Must be able to drive a 26' box truck and be able to lift heavy pieces of furniture * Must be able to work weekends, work well with others and be a team player * Take and comprehend delivery orders, and determine prioritizing of delivery tasks.
* Assist loaders in loading furniture onto delivery trucks, ensuring that they are properly stacked and safely secured.
* Map short and efficient routes using both the GPS and standard maps, to ensure timely deliveries.
* Unload furniture at destinations, and communicate with customers at to the placement of the furniture * Provide customers with paperwork related to their deliveries, as well as furniture drop-offs * Receive and log payments from customers and issue receipts according to specifications provided by the company.
* Perform both preventative and regular maintenance on assigned vehicles, to ensure that they remain in good working order.
* Responsibilities in this career include checking client orders and ensuring that you or the warehouse staff load the correct items into the truck before departure.
You plan your route each day and schedule deliveries so to ensure you have enough time to complete your work by the end of the day.
You may carry furniture into the client’s home or office and then remove and transport old furniture away as well.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.
