Saint Mary's Hospital, EMS Team NEV Driver, 40 hours, Rotating Shifts
Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an experienced NEV Driver to join our team of mission-driven healthcare innovators at our Waterbury location.
You would be responsible for providing safe, timely and courteous transportation of wheelchair and ambulatory patients and/or pre-arranged parcel delivery transportation of laboratory specimens.
Maintain accurate records of all runs as required.
What will you do:
Greet and transport patients safely to their destination
Responsible for specimen pick-up and deliveries
Detail oriented for maintaining accurate records
Position Hours:
Full-time, 40 hrs, Rotating shifts
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
CPR preferred, or must complete an adult CPR class within six months of employment.
Recent experience in transporting people, including handling wheelchair patients and passengers that need compassionate assistance preferred.
Ability to read maps and a good knowledge of Community EMS Transportation Service area.
