Construction Truck Driver

Construction Truck Driver AA/EOE Salary DOE General Contractor looking for a Truck Driver for operating commercial heavy trucks on public highways and on construction jobsites in a safe an efficient manner.
Heavy trucks may include: End Dump Trucks, lowboy trailer trucks.
Dump trucks with haul aggregates, sand concrete, and other construction materials to active work zones.
Low Boy drivers will haul/mobilize heavy equipment to and from jobsites.
The commercial truck driver must also complete pre-trip checks, assist with fluid checks and maintenance, securing loads, cleaning and other duties as performed by the foreman and operations manager.
Typical Duties: • Responsible for operating the truck in a safe an efficient manner according to company policy, and FMCA guidelines.
• Responsibility for following verbal and written directions • Responsible for performing daily maintenance and pre-trip checks • Maintaining cleanliness of the truck • May perform other duties as assigned by Superintendents/Operations Manager Required Skills/Experience: • Must have working knowledge of construction jobsite activities • Must be able to climb into, on, and around truck and trailer • Must be able to work outdoors in extreme temperatures, both hot & cold • Must be able to lift and carry up to 75lbs • Must possess a positive attitude, and team-player mentality • Must adhere to all safety requirements and company policies • Must be at least 21 years of age • Must have a valid and maintain a Class A & B Commercial Driver’s License • Must be able to pass a pre-employment and random drug tests • Minimum of 2-years’ experience operating a tractor trailer • Knowledge of various construction equipment • Must have a maintain a valid medical card as per DOT standards/requirements • Must have a good driving record with no major violations.
