* Delegate tasks to retail floor clerks such as pulling back stock, re-pricing of goods and working on inventory projects.
* Ensure accurate, up-to-date labeling (or shelf tags) for department items; double-checking to ensure regular and sale prices are ringing correctly.
* Provide excellent customer service to all store patrons.
* Verify that items are maintained in an in-stock, on-the-shelf position, with special attention paid to the items in the top 10% as well as end-caps and special displays.
* Establish and maintain a positive work environment that supports high department morale.
* Responsible for receiving orders for quality control.
Check deliveries for damage, quality, and accuracy, and note discrepancies on invoice as needed.
* Open to working flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
* Previous experience in natural/organic foods, grocery or retail preferred.
