The Academy of Early Learning is looking for dedicated early childhood educators to work with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.
As an early childhood teacher, you will have the opportunity to impact the growth of young children and guide them through many incredible milestones in their critical first few years.
We are seeking educators who can help to create a fun environment and incorporate educational programs that assist in our children’s development.
The teacher will be responsible for monitoring and teaching children in our program, implementing a curriculum that the children will respond to positively and partnering with our team to enhance the learning environment at our school.
Qualified candidates will possess a passion and joy for early childhood education.
*Teacher responsibilities* * Develop and maintain a constructive and ongoing rapport with children and parents * Implement the curriculum in a way that is fun and engaging for the children * Collaborate with other teachers to ensure that the school fosters an environment that is inviting and nurturing for every child * Deliver reports on potential concerns about students as to the leadership team, as needed * Manage day-to-day classroom activities, including structured lessons, free play, outdoor time, bathroom breaks, lunch time and rest time for the children * Maintain a clean and organized classroom * Communicate daily with the families (in person and through the center app) * Manage the center's parent app throughout the day on classroom iPads *Requirements* * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task * Experience working with children or the drive to create an engaging classroom * The ability to be comfortable in holding and caring for babies, guiding toddlers through toilet learning and helping preschoolers with their developmental stages.
* The physical ability to participate in activities that may require lifting, reaching, squatting, climbing and sitting on the floor.
* CPR/First Aid/Med/Epi-Pen Certification - must be completed during trainings if not already certified *Why You'll Love Working at Our Center* The Academy of Early Learning is a fully renovated center to serve the community of Cheshire and surrounding areas.

Hourly range: $14-16 *COVID-19 considerations* Mask wearing and vaccinations- for staff, children and families- are currently optional with the understanding we are required to follow state licensing requirements.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $15.
